ISIS destroys two Turkish Army tanks in east Aleppo

The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) reportedly destroyed two Turkish Army tanks that were operating in the western countryside of Al-Bab on Thursday.


Photos released by Al-'Amaq (ISIS media wing) show two tanks destroyed at the contested village of Hazwan, which is located west of Al-Bab in east Aleppo.

The Turkish Army does not usually participate in battles around Aleppo; however, this week, they were reportedly offering their "rebel" forces tank assistance agains the Islamic State terrorists near Al-Bab.

The Turkish-backed rebels are currently within 2 km of the Islamic State stronghold of Al-Bab, as they make their final preparations to attack this key town in eastern Aleppo.
