Paris train station reopens after security scare

The Gare du Nord in Paris reopened Tuesday after a security alert forced the evacuation of Europe's busiest train station late Monday, officials said.


Armed police rushed passengers off trains and cleared platforms as they evacuated the the terminus of Eurostar trains from London.

No details on the operation were provided. The French newspaper Le Parisien reported that police were searching for three men described as "dangerous" to French security forces, according to the BBC.
