Téhéran appelle Ryad à ne pas jouer avec le feu

Le président iranien Hassan Rohani a adressé mercredi une sérieuse mise en garde à l'Arabie saoudite, lui conseillant de ne pas jouer avec le feu, après une exacerbation des tensions entre les deux puissances rivales au Moyen-Orient.


La veille, le prince héritier saoudien Mohammed ben Salmane avait accusé l'Iran "d'agression directe" contre son pays après l'interception d'un missile tiré sur Ryad par les rebelles yéménites houthis, soutenus par Téhéran qui a démenti toute implication.

"Vous connaissez la puissance et la place de l'Iran dans la région. Des plus grands que vous s'y sont cassé les dents. Vous n'êtes rien!" a lancé M. Rohani à l'adresse des dirigeants saoudiens, lors d'un discours retransmis par la télévision d'État.
