Μιλώντας στο γερμανικό περιοδικό "Der Spiegel", ο Γάλλος επίτροπος της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης υπέδειξε ότι δεν πρέπει να τυγχάνει υποτίμησης ο κίνδυνος από ενδεχόμενο Grexit.
"Τελικά", πρόσθεσε, "το πιθανότερο είναι ότι όλοι εμείς στην Ευρώπη συμφωνούμε ότι η έξοδος της Ελλάδας από τη ζώνη του ευρώ θα αποβεί καταστροφική για την οικονομία της χώρας. Όμως, το ίδιο καταστροφική θα είναι και για την Ευρωζώνη ως σύνολο".
Σε προδημοσίευση συνέντευξης στο νέο τεύχος του γερμανικού περιοδικού, που θα κυκλοφορήσει αύριο, ο κ. Μοσκοβισί τόνισε ότι, αν ένα κράτος-μέλος εγκαταλείψει το κοινό νόμισμα, οι αγορές θα αρχίσουν αμέσως να αναζητούν ποιο θα είναι το επόμενο στη σειρά.

After all, all of us in Europe are in agreement that a Grexit would be a catastrophe -- for the Greek economy but also for the entire euro zone. There's more to it than just a common exchange rate zone -- it's a currency union.
