Four dead in Nepal after another strong earthquake

At least four people have been killed in a central Nepalese town after a 7.4-magnitude earthquake shook the nation.

It comes just weeks after a devastating quake killed more than 8,000 people and damaged hundreds of thousands of buildings.

The four people died in Chautara in Sindhupalchowk district, north of the capital Kathmandu, after several buildings collapsed, a spokesman for the International Organization for Migration said.

The IOM, an intergovernmental group, deployed a team to Chautara after last month's devastating earthquake.

Separately, a district official there said 12 people had been injured in Sindhupalchowk, which suffered the heaviest death toll in last month's 7.8-magnitude quake.

The new quake also triggered at least three big landslides in the district......http://www.rte.ie/news/2015/0512/700445-nepal-hit-by-another-strong-earthquake/
