Greece’s new reform proposals don’t meet expectations of creditors (EU source)

Greece’s new proposals on reforms don’t meet the expectations of its creditors and should be improved before the deal on unfreezing of the financial aid becomes possible, a source close to the EU institutions told TASS on Tuesday.

"The proposals that were received from Greece today don’t meet the expectations of the creditors and need to be improved," he said.

According to the source, later on Tuesday Athens will hold additional technical consultations with experts of the troika of creditors (the EU, the European Central Bank, the International Monetary Fund) and try to adjust the proposals by the coming meeting of Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsirpas with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande.

The three leaders will meet on the sidelines of the EU-South America summit in Brussels.
