Σε σχόλιά του σε δημοσιογράφους πριν από τη συνεδρίαση του κόμματος των χριστιανοδημοκρατών (CDU) της Καγκελαρίου Άγγελα Μέρκελ, ο Έτινγκερ είπε ότι είναι ώρα να γίνουν συγκεκριμένες προετοιμασίες για μια κρίση στην Ελλάδα, εάν δεν επιτευχθεί συμφωνία, εάν η Ελλάδα χρεοκοπήσει και βγει από την ευρωζώνη.
«Θα πρέπει να εκπονήσουμε ένα έκτακτο σχέδιο επειδή η Ελλάδα θα βρεθεί σε κατάσταση έκτακτης ανάγκης» είπε ο Έτινγκερ, Επίτροπος για την Ψηφιακή Οικονομία και Κοινωνία, που είναι επίσης υψηλόβαθμο στέλεχος του CDU.
«Οι προμήθειες ενέργειας, οι μισθοί για τους αστυνομικούς, οι ιατρικές προμήθειες, τα φαρμακευτικά προϊόντα και πολλά ακόμη» χρειάζεται να διασφαλιστούν", δήλωσε. Σημείωσε ότι η ΕΕ έχει "δοκιμασμένους μηχανισμούς» που μπορούν να βοηθήσουν τα κράτη να καλύψουν βασικές ανάγκες όπως η αστυνομική προστασία και η παροχή υπηρεσιών υγείας.
«Νομίζω ότι η Κομισιόν χρειάζεται να εκπονήσει ένα σχέδιο που θα μπορούσε να αποτρέψει την επιδείνωση της κατάστασης στην περίπτωση που η Ελλάδα βγει από την ευρωζώνη, στην περίπτωση χρεοκοπίας» δήλωσε.
Ο Έτινγκερ είπε σε δημοσιογράφους προσερχόμενος σε συνάντηση του CDU στο Βερολίνο ότι η Αθήνα πρέπει να φέρει προτάσεις για τη μεταρρύθμιση του συνταξιοδοτικού συστήματος για να προχωρήσουν οι συνομιλίες.
«Η προσφορά συνεχίζει να ισχύει για να παραμείνει η χώρα στην ευρωζώνη. Αλλά για να συμβεί αυτό, η Ελλάδα θα πρέπει να μετακινηθεί ως προς τις θέσεις της για τις συντάξεις και τη γενικότερη δημοσιονομική της εξυγίανση», δήλωσε.
«Κατά την άποψή μου, υπάρχει ένα κενό εκεί που δεν μπορεί να καλυφθεί από τους Ευρωπαίους φορολογούμενους», πρόσθεσε ο Έτινγκερ.

ReplyDeleteGreek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has said his government will wait patiently for international creditors to become "realistic", after talks on a debt deal in Brussels failed.
Mr Tsipras rejected demands for pension cuts, citing his country's dignity.
Time is running out for Greece to unlock bailout funds from the EU and IMF and a European Commission spokesman said "significant gaps" remained.
One European Commissioner said it was time to plan for an emergency.
Guenther Oettinger, who is also a member of German Chancellor Angela Merkel's centre-right CDU, said if negotiations with Greece failed and its government rejected a deal on pension cuts, then on 1 July Greece would have to be considered an "emergency area"......BBC

ReplyDeleteLes autorités grecques sont d'accord avec leurs créanciers, UE et FMI, pour réaliser un excédent budgétaire primaire de 1% cette année, un point resté longtemps au coeur de leurs désaccords, a déclaré lundi une porte-parole de la Commission européenne.
"Les autorités grecques sont désormais d'accord avec cet objectif", a déclaré Annika Breidthardt au cours d'un point de presse, ajoutant que "la question est d'évaluer si les engagements pour y parvenir sont crédibles".
L'objectif de déficit budgétaire primaire définit le montant des économies ou des recettes supplémentaires à réaliser. Après un weekend de négociations qui se sont soldées par un échec dimanche, la Commission avait chiffré à 2 milliards d'euros l'effort supplémentaire nécessaire de la part de la Grèce.
Parmi les pistes évoquées par la Commission, un autre porte-parole, Margaritis Schinas, a cité les dépenses militaires. "Ce n'est pas un secret que les dépenses du budget grec pour la défense sont les deuxièmes (en Europe) après le Royaume-Uni", a-t-il dit.
La question des pensions
Annika Breidthardt a également souligné le poids du système grec de retraites. "C'est un des systèmes de retraites les plus coûteux d'Europe et une réforme fait partie des demandes" des créanciers, a-t-elle dit, tout en insistant sur le fait que "les institutions n'ont pas demandé de réduction des pensions au niveau individuel".........rtbf.be

Germany's EU commissioner said it was time to prepare for a "state of emergency" after talks fell apart at the weekend to rescue Greece from default and possible exit from the euro.
Asked about the costs of "Grexit", Nowotny told reporters: "Of course, every responsible institution and also central banks have to make some kind of calculations what would be some effects ... For the time being we should try to avoid such a situation and not to discuss it too much."

ReplyDeleteVorkehrungen für den Ernstfall: Der EU-Kommissar Günther Oettinger verlangt einen Notfallplan für Griechenland für den Fall eines Ausscheidens aus der Eurozone. Wenn sich Athen bei der Forderung der internationalen Geldgeber nach weiteren Rentenkürzungen nicht bewege und die Verhandlungen scheiterten, werde Griechenland „zum 1. Juli ein Notstandsgebiet“ werden, sagte Oettinger. Deswegen müsse parallel zu den laufenden Verhandlungen von allen Beteiligten einschließlich der EU-Kommission ein Notfallplan erarbeitet werden.

Greece crisis: Europe anger at 'amateurish' Greeks...
ReplyDeleteEU officials and German politicians have vented their frustration at Greece, with time running out for reaching a debt deal.
One diplomat described as amateurish Greece's attempts to unlock bailout funds from the EU and IMF.
Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said it was up to international creditors to "turn to realism".
But Germany's European Commissioner said if talks failed Greece would come under a state of emergency.
Without a cash-for-reforms debt deal with the EU and IMF, Greece is expected to default on a €1.5bn (£1.1bn; $1.7bn) debt repayment to the IMF due by the end of the month.
The Athens government's bailout deal with the EU also runs out on 30 June and Mr Tsipras has been trying to unlock the final €7.2bn instalment.
