Turkish claims of airspace violation baseless propaganda - Russian Defence Ministry

No violations of Turkish airspace by planes of the Russian air group in Syria has not been declared «Interfax» official representative of the Russian Defence Ministry Igor Konashenkov.

“The statements of the Turkish side about the alleged fact of violation of the Russian Su-34 airspace – unsubstantiated propaganda” – he stressed.

Konashenkov noted that radars that control of airspace can capture only the height course and speed of the object in the air. None of these radars are not able to establish the type and nationality of the aircraft object this is only possible through direct visual contact with another aircraft which was not.
