MP, member of Treasury select Committee inquiry in Parliament John Mann has called the Prime Minister a hypocrite. “Cameron was six years old, to tell the truth to Parliament and people. He didn’t do it”, — he wrote in his microblog on Twitter.
The leader of the Liberal Democrats Tim Farron stated that British citizens “have the right to know more than the truth”. “The Prime Minister several days denied involvement in offshore but managed to expose,” he said.
MP, member of Treasury Committee of the House of Commons Wes Streeting, believes that the credibility of the Cameron completely undermined. Deputy Chairman of the labour party Tom Watson called on the Prime Minister to return to the Ministry of Finance of the United Kingdom all the money that he had received through his offshore companies.
April 7, Cameron admitted that he had shares in an offshore company father Blairmore Holdings until he became the head of the government of the United Kingdom, is betrayed by BBC News. He also said that before taking office in 2010, he sold shares worth more than 30 thousand pounds sterling.
On 3 April, the international consortium of investigative journalism (ICIJ), together with the Organization by reporting on organized crime and corruption (OCCRP) published a large-scale investigation, based on documents of the Registrar Panamanian offshore Mossack Fonseca. These documents unknown source gave the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung. Journalists have found information about the offshore accounts of many famous athletes, movie stars and politicians.
According to Wikileaks, the leak was organized by billionaire George Soros and the US Agency for international development (USAID).

ReplyDeleteSous pression, le Premier ministre britannique David Cameron a admis jeudi avoir détenu des parts dans un fonds offshore immatriculé aux Bahamas. Outre-Atlantique, c'est le président argentin Mauricio Macri qui est visé par une enquête.
Le scandale Panama Papers continue de faire des remous. Qu'il soit chef d'État ou de gouvernement, nul n'est à l'abri des révélations. Deux dirigeants de premier plan sont ainsi pris dans cette tempête qui balaye la planète : le président argentin, qui va faire l'objet d'une enquête, et le Premier ministre britannique, qui a admis avoir détenu des parts dans un fonds offshore.
Après plusieurs jours de pressions, le chef du gouvernement britannique David Cameron a reconnu, jeudi 7 avril, au soir avoir détenu jusqu'en 2010 des parts dans le fonds fiduciaire de son père immatriculé aux Bahamas. Le chef du gouvernement a toutefois affirmé dans un entretien avec la chaîne de télévision ITV, qu'il avait vendu ses parts, cette année-là pour environ 30 000 livres (37 000 euros), soit quelques mois avant de devenir Premier ministre.
Le chef du gouvernement est personnellement attaqué depuis que l'on a appris que son père Ian Cameron, mort en 2010, avait dirigé ce fonds, dont les bénéfices ont échappé au fisc britannique pendant 30 ans grâce à un montage complexe via le cabinet d'avocats panaméen Mossack Fonseca.

De l'autre côté de l'Atlantique, en Argentine, le président Mauricio Macri subit un véritable revers : lui qui prônait une lutte sans merci contre la corruption fait désormais l'objet d'une enquête. La justice doit en effet déterminer si Mauricio Macri, élu en novembre 2015, aurait dû signaler dans sa déclaration de patrimoine qu'il figurait dans l'organigramme de deux sociétés offshore. Die Veröffentlichung der Panama-Papiere zieht immer weitere Kreise. Der britische Premier David Cameron hat eingeräumt, dass er vor seiner Amtszeit Geld in einem Offshore-Trust seines Vaters Ian Cameron in Panama angelegt hatte. Er und seine Ehefrau hätten die Anteile im April 1997 für 12.497 Pfund gekauft und im Januar 2010 für 31.500 Pfund verkauft und dafür Steuern in Großbritannien bezahlt, sagte er dem Sender ITV am Donnerstag. Er habe „nichts zu verbergen“. Unklar bleibt indes, ob die 300.000 Pfund, die Cameron von seinem Vater erbte, vom Steuerstatus in einer Steueroase profitierten.
Es war die fünfte Erklärung innerhalb von vier Tagen, die Cameron oder seine Mitarbeiter zu dem Thema abgegeben haben. Downing Street 10 hatte zu Beginn erklärt, bei der Frage, ob der Premier von den Geschäften seines Vaters profitiert habe, handele es sich um eine „private Angelegenheit.“ Anschließend sagte Cameron, er besitze „keine Beteiligungen im Ausland“. Weder er noch seine Familie würden „in Zukunft“ von solchen Geschäften profitieren. Schließlich räumte er ein, Anteile im Fonds seines Vaters besessen zu haben.....faz.net
