Jordan has withdrawn its ambassador to Iran, al-Arabiya reports.
A statement from Amman claims that Jordan wishes to consult with its diplomat about Iran's improper interference in Arab issues.
A number of Arab countries have been questioning or ending their relationship with the Islamic Republic recently.
Saudi Arabia first dropped its diplomatic ties after Iranian rioters attacked its complexes in Tehran and Mashhad. Kuwait, Qatar and the UAE have since also withdrawn their ambassadors.
