Une note de la cellule antiterroriste belge transmises à tous les services de police du pays fait état d’une menace jihadiste "imminente" visant la France et la Belgique, a déclaré, mercredi 15 juin, une source proche des services de sécurité belges. Selon cette note, des jihadistes du groupe État islamique (EI) auraient récemment quitté la Syrie pour commettre des attentats sur les sols belges et français.
Le journal belge La Dernière Heure, qui a révélé l’information, indique que les "combattants auraient quitté la Syrie il y a environ une semaine et demie afin de rejoindre l’Europe via la Turquie et la Grèce, en bateau, sans passeport".
