Russia still expects Ukraine to repay debt.

Russia still hopes that Ukraine repays the debt of $3 bln, but after Kiev’s statements, Moscow is ready to use all international legal instruments, Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday, commenting on Russia’s petition to the London’s High Court for expedited hearing of the Ukrainian debt issue.

"We certainly still expect the necessary sovereign obligations to be fulfilled by the Ukrainian side. But after refusal of such commitments, as we have said repeatedly, Russia will use all the tools provided by international law to protect its interests," the Kremlin official said.

Peskov added, he "knows nothing" about Russia possibly arresting Ukraine's assets abroad in case the Court rules in Russia’s favor.
