The Russian leadership chooses the response to the incident on 7 August in the Crimea. According to the newspaper «Izvestia», one of the possible responses may be the rupture of diplomatic relations with Ukraine.
In the case of adoption of the relevant decision, Russia will close the diplomatic mission and withdraw all diplomats from Ukraine.
At the moment, has not yet been appointed the Ambassador of Russia in Ukraine. Moscow was suspended from this position, Mikhail Zurabov, but Kiev did not accept the new candidate for Ambassador Mikhail Babich.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that Russian law enforcement agencies detained about ten people suspected of attempting to organize terrorist attacks in the Crimea, which allegedly planned to carry out Ukrainian subversive group. With this information, security forces twice clashed with the saboteurs – 7 and 8 August.
Ukraine denies these allegations. Petro Poroshenko said that the accusation on the part of Russia «is also pointless and cynical, as the statements of the Russian leadership about the absence of Russian troops in Donbass».
