The BBC provided the evidence of the actions of British commandos in Syria

In a Corporation the BBC were photos taken in June 2016 in the North of Syria. They are the first documentary evidence of the presence of British commandos in Syria.

The photo shows two SUV Thalab fitted to British special units. People fighters equipped with anti-tank missiles, sniper rifles, heavy machine guns.

According to the BBC, the soldiers guarding the perimeter of the base of a New Syrian army al-Tanaf, located near the Iraqi border. According to witnesses, their role is purely defensive. However, training and equipment will allow them to keep significant forces of the jihadists.

A new Syrian army was another attempt of the Western coalition to prepare combat-ready units of the moderate Syrian opposition. However, during the latest offensive in the province of dir al-Zur, the militants of the «Islamic state» captured a significant number of these militias. At least one of them was beheaded.

In Iraq, the military training programme works with great success. However, here the brunt of the operation to liberate Mosul from ISIS will bring the Kurdish and Shiite militants and U.S. soldiers from elite units. On the eve it became known that in Iraq sent 400 paratroopers.
