Syrian Army Storms ISIL's Positions in Energy-Rich Region in Deir Ezzur

Syrian Army soldiers carried out an operation against ISIL's positions in an oilfield in Eastern Deir Ezzur, inflicting major damage on the terrorists' military grid.


The army men attacked ISIL's defense liens in the surrounding areas of al-Koniko oilfield, 18 km East of Deir Ezzur city, killing or wounding a number of terrorists and destroying their vehicles.

Reports said earlier today that Syrian Army troops engaged in fierce clashes with a group of ISIL terrorists in the Southern countryside of Deir Ezzur city, killing all fighters of the group.

Syrian army troops clashed with a group of ISIL Takfiri terrorists in the Northern side of al-Thardah mountain, killing all the militants in the clashes.
