Syrian Army: Turkey Meeting Proves Partnership in Killing Aleppo Civilians

Syrian army and allied forces warned on Friday of a serious action that would meet the terrorist threats waged by the armed groups against the civilians in Aleppo, stressing that it will not be less than expelling them out of the city.

In a statement issued Friday in response to the top-secret meeting held in Turkey with terrorist groups to discuss ways to fight back the Aleppo campaign, the military stressed that all attempts to counter the wide-ranging army operation will go in vain.

  • Security sources revealed that a top secret security meeting took place this week in Ankara between delegates of  Saudi Arabia, the United States, Turkey and Jaish Al-Fateh terrorist group to discuss the Aleppo campaign launched by the Syrian army and allied forces.

Jaish AL-Fateh terrorist group operating in Syria has been ordered by the meeting parties not to withdraw from the besieged part of Aleppo city under any circumstances, even if it will lead to the killing of civilians, and to set once again for a large military operation in the city.

“The meeting proves once again the countries that claim keenness on civilians are a full partner in the killing and destruction, and speaking about their concern on civilian lives is nothing than another lie,” the statement read.

The Syrian military urged the UN envoy to Syria, Staffan de Mistura, “to rise up and say the right word,” calling him to implement “the policy of those conspirators.”

“They tried repeatedly and failed to achieve anything but more death and destruction,” it added, stressing that the military leadership will not accept the status quo of the civilian hostages inside Aleppo and will take the necessary measures.

“Our decision is not to accept the status quo of civilian hostages in the hands of militants in the besieged part of Aleppo and we will take a step that matches the threats, and will not be less than expelling the takfiri and terrorist criminals from Aleppo as soon as possible,” it said in the statement.
