Iran criticizes draft resolution on Syria

Iran’s Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative Gholamali Dehghani on Friday said that Iran will vote against a draft resolution on the situation in Syria as it has failed to show 'realities on the ground' in the war-torn state.


Dehghani made the remarks in an address before the meeting of the General Assembly to consider a draft resolution proposed by Canada on the situation in Syria.

He stressed that the world counties should make a collective effort to solve the Syrian crisis through a “comprehensive and exclusively Syrian-led and Syrian-owned political settlement.”.....http://www.irna.ir/en/News/82339645/
