Syria sends two letters to UNSC and UN Secretary Gen. regarding the Israeli aggression on Mezzeh military airport

Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry on Friday sent two letters to the UN Secretary General and the head of the UN Security Council about the new Israeli aggression on Mezzeh military airport west of Damascus after the midnight of Friday.

” The new Israeli missile attack on Mezzeh military airport west of Damascus comes within a long series of Israeli attacks since the beginning of the terrorist war on the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of Syria which has been planned in the Israeli, French and British intelligence agencies and their agents in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar and other countries that wanted to impose control and hegemony on Syria and the region,” the ministry said in the letter.

A military source told SANA that several missiles were fired from the Lake Tiberias area and landed in the surroundings of al-Mezzeh airport at 12:25 after midnight, causing a fire to erupt.

The source said the new Israeli attack came in support of the terrorist organizations “to raise their morale”.
