Calling St. Petersburg terror attack 'revenge to Russia' for Syria is cynical : Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has described attempts to portray Monday’s terrorist attack in St. Petersburg as revenge to Russia for its policy on Syria as cynical and mean.


"As for some media speculations that the terrorist attack is a revenge to Russia for our policy in Syria… They are cynical and mean. It is sad that these are not just fabricated news reports. Some officials, including representatives of the Pentagon under the Obama administration, shared similar thoughts with the international community," the minister said.
