Libya, France discuss future of political agreement
Libyan and French foreign ministers on Monday discussed the current political situation in Libya and the future of the political agreement.


Libya's UN-backed foreign minister Mohamed Sayala on Monday met with French foreign minister Jean-Yves Le Drian in the Libyan capital Tripoli and held discussions.

According to the media department of the Libyan foreign ministry, the two officials discussed the current political situation in Libya and the future of the political agreement.

In a press conference following the meeting, Le Drian stressed France's commitment to urgently solve the political crisis and achieve stability in Libya.

Le Drian revealed that he will soon visit Misrata and Benghazi in an effort to bring the views of Libyans together.
