Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday congratulated US President Donald Trump for "confronting Iran's terrorist regime."
"I congratulate President Trump for his courageous decision today of boldly confronting Iran's terrorist regime," said Netanyahu, adding that Iran's nuclear program would be a "tremendous danger" if the Iran nuclear deal remained unchanged.
Trump condemned Iran as a "fanatical regime" and refused to continue certifying the international nuclear deal reached in 2015.
He accused Iran of sponsoring terrorism and said he would deny the regime's "all paths to a nuclear weapon."
