“The Iraqi F-16s struck two sites today, including a headquarter used by leading members of the terrorist group and a warehouse used for storing missiles… in Hajin region in Southeastern Deir Ezzur,” the Joint Command said.
The operation achieved its objective, totally destroying both targets, the statement asserted.
Iraq's Joint Operation Command announced in a statement earlier this month that the Iraqi fighter jets bombed and destroyed an ISIL command base in Dashisha region in Southern Hasaka.
The statement further said that the air raid was ordered by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Haydar al-Ebadi and coordinated by Joint Operation Command, adding that Iraqi F16 jets struck ISIL's base in Southern Hasaka, destroying it completely.
In the meantime, the chairman of the Iraqi Parliaments' Foreign Affairs Committee underlined growing coordination between the intelligence services of Iraq and Syria is recent months, saying the coordination and cooperation paves the ground for killing or capturing tens of ISIL commanders at joint borders.

Die irakische Luftwaffe hat neue Luftschläge gegen die Terrormiliz „Islamischer Staat“* im benachbarten Syrien geflogen. Dies geht aus einer Mitteilung des Kommandos der irakischen Streitkräfte hervor, die Sputnik vorliegt.
ReplyDelete„Irakische Kampfflugzeuge vom Typ F-16 versetzten heute Morgen Luftschläge, die auf einen Stab der IS-Kämpfer sowie ein Munitionslager abzielten, wo sich mehrere Terroristen befanden", heißt es in der Mitteilung.
Demnach wurden Luftschläge in der Umgebung der syrischen Stadt Hadschin auf der Grundlage von Aufklärungsdaten und einer Anordnung des irakischen Ministerpräsidenten Haider al-Abadi geführt. Die Ziele des Einsatzes sollen erreicht sein, die Stellungen der Terroristen seien völlig zerstört. Die Zahl der getöteten Terroristen wurde nicht genannt.
