EU leaders agree deal on migration at Brussels summit

EU leaders agree deal on migration at Brussels summit
EU leaders have struck a deal on migration after all-night talks, the bloc's president Donald Tusk said, after Italy had blocked an agreement until it got more help on the issue.

Leaders of the 28 nation bloc agreed on European Council conclusions including migration," Mr Tusk said on Twitter. Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel added: "Deal agreed on migration."

It is understood that the agreement will involve the creation of screening centres for migrants in european countries on a voluntary basis.
