President Moon receives second AstraZeneca COVID-19 shot, ahead of overseas trips

 --

President Moon Jae-in has received his second dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.

Like his first,... he got a preliminary health check-up this morning to make sure he was fit enough to get the jab.
President Moon's vaccination comes in accordance with the KDCA manual for "essential" foreign travel -- as he's been invited to the G7 meeting in the UK in June.

  • He got his first dose on March 23rd.

President Moon's second shot was expected next month given that the AstraZeneca vaccine requires a time frame of eight to twelve weeks.

However, it was administered earlier as he travels to Washington in late May for a summit with U.S. President Joe Biden.
