EC revised again estimate of Ukraine’s damage from conflict to 600 bln euro — EC President

The European Commission (EC) has increased its estimate of the damage sustained by Ukraine during the military conflict from 385 to 600 bln euro, President of the EC Ursula von der Leyen said on Wednesday.

"The damage suffered by Ukraine is estimated at 600 billion euro," von der Leyen said. The EC estimated the damage as 326 bln euro in September and as 385 bln euro in late October.

The death toll of Ukrainian servicemen during developments in Ukraine is estimated at more than 100,000, she noted.
