 UPDATE: The firemen brought under control the fire occurred earlier today at diesel fuel tanks in the Bryansk Region, press service of the regional emergencies department said.
"The fire was eliminated completely. No information about injured persons was received," the press service said.

The fire on the oil tanks in the Bryansk region was localized. This was announced on the morning of November 30 by the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz.

Recall that the fire started in the reservoir of a diesel plant in the Surazh district of the Bryansk region near the village of Lesnoy. As it became known to REN TV, according to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was ammunition dropped from a drone.

"Thanks to the well-coordinated and efficient work of fire and rescue units, the fire in the Surazh district was localized," Bogomaz wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to unconfirmed reports, at the time of localization, the fire area was about four thousand square meters.

The fire outbreak occurred in two tanks, the regional emergencies department’s press service said .

"We contained the entire fire," the press service said. "Two tanks were on fire in total," it added.

The fire outbreak occurred in tanks with petroleum products on the area of 1,800 square meters in the Surazhsky District, the regional governor said on Wednesday in his Telegram channel.
