Egyptian Ship Delivers 500 Tons of Relief Aid to Syria's Latakia Port

An Egyptian ship carrying approximately 500 tons of relief aid arrived at the port of Latakia to support the efforts to deal with the aftermath of a recent earthquake and provide relief to those affected.

This is the second shipment of relief aid provided to the Syrian people through the port of Latakia.

Mahmoud Omar, the chargé d'affaires of the Egyptian embassy in Damascus, explained that the ship was loaded with medical, food, and living supplies to be delivered to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent organization for distribution to the earthquake-affected areas.

Omar emphasized the deep historical relations and strong fraternal ties between Egypt and Syria, confirming that this aid would not be the last in the framework of providing relief requirements to those affected by the earthquake
