Russian Defense Ministry called the rocket attack on Ukraine a "massive retaliation strike" for Bryansk

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that today's strikes on Ukraine were a response to terrorist attacks in the Bryansk region. The department called the shelling itself a massive retaliation strike.

“High-precision weapons, including the hypersonic Kinzhal, hit key elements of the military infrastructure, defense industry and energy of Ukraine, the goal of the retaliation strike was achieved, all designated military infrastructure facilities of Ukraine were hit,” the Defense Ministry said.
