A missile fired from Ukraine was shot down over the Black Sea town of Feodosia in Crimea, the Russian head of Crimea's administration said on Saturday.
"A missile launched from Ukraine was downed over Feodosiya," he said.
Previously, Aksyonov’s advisor on informational policy Oleg Kryuchkov announced that, according to preliminary information, air defense systems went off in the Feodosiya area on Crimean coast Saturday.
Fragments of the downed missile dropped in a Crimean settlement, but caused no injuries or damage, Kryuchkov said.
