Israel attacked the outskirts of the Syrian capital Damascus on Sunday evening, Syrian state TV channel Al Akhbar reported.
“Israel committed aggression on the outskirts of Damascus,” the TV channel said in a statement.
The TV channel notes that Syrian air defense systems are repelling the attack.
