Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa will visit Kiev, where she will discuss support for Ukraine, a conference on the reconstruction of the country and ways to achieve a “just and lasting peace,” and will also take part in a ceremony to transfer large energy equipment to Ukraine to prepare for winter, the Japanese Foreign Ministry reported.
According to the statement, Kamikawa is set to hold a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.
The Japanese top diplomat is currently on a foreign tour, which included previously announced visits to a number of European countries and the United States, but her current visit to Ukraine was not on the schedule.
