President Vladimir Putin has pledged to "intensify" attacks against Ukraine, following days of aerial bombardment by both sides in the long-running war.
Speaking during a visit to a military hospital in Moscow, Mr Putin said the military would continue targeting Ukrainian "military installations".
He called an air raid on the Russian city of Belgorod by Ukraine a "deliberate strike against civilians".
Twenty-five people were killed in Saturday's attack, local officials say.
Russia has retaliated with strikes on Ukrainian military facilities just a day after the Ukrainian military’s shelling of Belgorod on December 30 last year. The Russian army has carried them out earlier and will continue doing so, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with military personnel.
"You must have noticed that literally the next day such strikes were carried out. And, I think, more are being carried out today. We will continue doing so tomorrow," he said ab out strikes on military infrastructure.
