In his speech titled “A strong Transatlantic Bond For An
Unpredictable World”, Mr. Fogh Rasmussen said that since World War Two, “the solution to every strategic challenge has been transatlantic” with, “America and Europe working together, trading together and when necessary fighting together.” “But
we cannot take our transatlantic bond for granted. We must renew our
commitment. And continue to invest time, energy, and resources, to keep
it strong”, he added.
Dieu Créateur, considérez que nous ne nous entendons pas nous-même et que nous ne savons pas ce que nous voulons, et que nous nous éloignons infiniment de ce que nous désirons

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen has urged Russia to
reverse its course on Ukraine policy and to take steps towards
rebuilding trust.
"Russia’s actions threaten the peace and security we have built after the fall of the Berlin Wall," Rasmussen said Wednesday in a joint press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Defense Chief Hagel Warns Against US Isolationism. -"A mistake to view our global responsibilities as a burden or charity."
U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel says it would be a mistake for the United States to turn to isolationism to avoid involvement in the world's conflicts.
After 13 years of U.S.-led wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Hagel told a foreign affairs forum Tuesday in Chicago that Americans are increasingly skeptical of foreign military engagements.
But he said it would be "a mistake to view our global responsibilities as a burden or charity." He said failure to engage in world affairs would prove costly.
