Gazprom has stopped gas supplies to Latvia. This was reported on July 30 in the company's Telegram channel.
“Today Gazprom stopped gas supplies to Latvia as part of the July application, due to violation of the conditions for gas withdrawal,” the statement says.
Earlier, on July 28, the head of the Latvian gas distribution company Latvijas gāze, Aigars Kalvitis, said that Riga had resumed gas purchases from Russia, paying for it in euros. He stressed that gas is not bought directly from Gazprom
