Υπό κράτηση έχει τεθεί ο πρώην πρόεδρος της Γαλλίας Νικολά Σαρκοζί, ο οποίος ανακρίνεται στην υπόθεση του σκανδάλου αθέμιτης άσκησης επιρροής.
Οι δικαστικές αρχές επιδιώκουν να εξακριβώσουν εάν ο πρώην πρόεδρος της Γαλλίας, με την υποστήριξη του δικηγόρου του Τιερί Ερζόγκ, επεδίωξε να λάβει πληροφορίες από ανώτατο δικαστικό για έρευνα που αφορούσε το πρόσωπό του με αντάλλαγμα την εξασφάλιση υψηλού αξιώματος.
Σύμφωνα με δικαστικές πηγές, ο πρώην πρόεδρος της Γαλλίας έφθασε χθες το πρωί στην έδρα της κεντρικής διεύθυνσης της δικαστικής αστυνομίας στη Ναντέρ, έξω από το Παρίσι.
Πρόκειται για την πρώτη φορά που πρώην πρόεδρος της 5ης Γαλλικής Δημοκρατίας τίθεται υπό κράτηση.
Η υπηρεσία κατά της διαφθοράς της δικαστικής αστυνομίας έχει τη δυνατότητα να θέσει τον Νικολά Σαρκοζί υπό κράτηση και να τον ανακρίνει επί ένα 24ωρο, διάστημα που μπορεί να ανανεωθεί άπαξ.
Τη Δευτέρα είχε περάσει από ανάκριση και ο δικηγόρος του, Τιερί Ερζόγκ, όπως και δύο ανώτατοι δικαστικοί της γενικής εισαγγελίας του Εφετείου.

L'avocat de Nicolas Sarkozy, Thierry Herzog, a été mis en examen mardi 1er juillet dans l'enquête ouverte notamment pour trafic d'influence, a annoncé son avocat Me Paul-Albert Iweins.
Me Herzog "est mis en examen pour les faits que vous connaissez et que nous contestons. Aucun élément matériel ne vient en appui de ces accusations", a déclaré à la presse Me Iweins sans expliciter les chefs de poursuites retenus. "Thierry Herzog est libre. Il reste l'avocat de Nicolas Sarkozy" avec qui il peut être en contact, a ajouté l'avocat. L'ancien chef de l'État français devait également être présenté aux juges en vue d'une possible mise en examen.
Dans la foulée, Me José Allegrini, l'avocat du haut magistrat Gilbert Azibert, avocat général à la Cour de cassation, a annoncé la mise en examen de son client, notamment pour trafic d'influence.
Dans ce dossier, Nicolas Sarkozy devrait également être présenté dans la soirée aux juges en vue d'une possible mise en examen. Au centre d'une information judiciaire ouverte le 26 février pour trafic d'influence et violation du secret de l'instruction sur la base d'écoutes téléphoniques, l'ancien président français a été placé en garde à vue mardi matin à Nanterre.

Nicolas Sarkozy a été inculpé mais remis en liberté....

Avant de recevoir l’ancien président, les juges d’instruction avaient mis en examen dans la soirée son avocat, Me Thierry Herzog, et le haut magistrat Gilbert Azibert.
L’ex-président était arrivé peu avant 8 heures à la direction centrale de la police judiciaire à Nanterre (DCPJ), dans la banlieue ouest de Paris, non loin de son ancien fief de Neuilly-sur-Seine.
Après environ 15 heures de garde à vue dans les locaux de l’office anti-corruption (Oclciff) – une première pour un ancien chef de l’État – il a été conduit au pôle financier du tribunal de Paris pour y être présenté aux juges.
Celles-ci l’ont mis en examen pour recel de violation du secret professionnel, corruption et trafic d’influence actifs, a précisé le parquet dans un communiqué. Il n’est pas soumis à un contrôle judiciaire.
La corruption et le trafic d’influence sont des délits passibles de peines pouvant aller jusqu’à dix ans de prison.
Ces développements judiciaires interviennent au moment où les rumeurs sur sa volonté de prendre à l’automne la tête du parti de droite UMP se font de plus en plus précises. Si quelques sarkozystes avaient dénoncé dans la journée son placement en garde à vue, aucun ténor de droite n’est monté au créneau pour le défendre.
Dans cette procédure, trois autres personnes avaient été placées en garde à vue lundi : Me Thierry Herzog, Gilbert Azibert et un autre avocat général à la Cour de cassation, Patrick Sassoust, qui n’a toutefois pas été présenté aux juges.
Sur quoi porte l’enquête
Les juges d’instruction cherchent à établir si l’ancien chef de l’État (2007-2012) a essayé d’obtenir des informations couvertes par le secret auprès de M.
