Σύμφωνα με τον Κραβτσούκ, την Τετάρτη η ουκρανική αντιπροσωπεία αναχωρεί για τις Βρυξέλλες για να συμφωνήσει τα οικονομικά ζητήματα σχετικά με τη σύνδεση με την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση.
Με τη σειρά του ο σημερινός πρόεδρος Βίκτορ Γιανουκόβιτς έδωσε εντολή στην κυβέρνηση να επιλύσει το ζήτημα της ελαχιστοποίησης των κινδύνων μετά την υπογραφή της συμφωνίας.

ReplyDeleteΟ Πρόεδρος της Ουκρανίας Βίκτορ Γιανουκόβιτς υποσχέθηκε να αφήσει ελεύθερους τους συλληφθέντες που συμμετείχαν στις εκδηλώσεις διαμαρτυρίας, κατά των οποίων δεν προβάλλονται σοβαρές κατηγορίες.
«Μου είναι δύσκολο τώρα να πω, πόσοι άνθρωποι θα αφεθούν ελεύθεροι, όμως οπωσδήποτε αυτοί οι άνθρωποι θα απελευθερωθούν, όσοι έχουν μικρά παιδιά, νεαρές οικογένειες... όλα θα ληφθούν υπόψη», - είπε ο Γιανουκόβιτς.
«Φυσικά αυτό δεν σημαίνει ότι η διερεύνηση θα τερματιστεί», - πρόσθεσε ο Πρόεδρος.
Κατά τη διάρκεια των μαζικών εκδηλώσεων διαμαρτυρίας στο Κίεβο στις 30 Νοεμβρίου και την 1η Δεκεμβρίου συνελήφθησαν περίπου 15 άτομα.

Ucrania anunció la reanudación de las negociaciones con la UE...
ReplyDelete"Tan pronto como logremos entendernos y alcancemos dicho compromiso, estamparemos la firma. Si Ucrania abre su mercado (a la Unión Europea), es necesario saber en qué condiciones. ¿A cambio de qué? ¿Habrá compensaciones? ¿Cuáles?", explicó Yanukovich al hacer el anuncio en la televisión pública.
El mandatario adelantó que el vice primer ministro Serguei Arbuzov viajará en los próximos días a Bruselas para reanudar el diálogo y que llevará consigo un programa para "minimizar los riesgos" de la asociación con el bloque europeo, según informó la agencia de noticias EFE.
"El objetivo es muy simple. Queremos recibir unas condiciones que satisfagan a la Ucrania actual, a los productores y al pueblo ucranianos", dijo. Ante todo, deben "proteger el mercado agrícola", enfatizó.
Yanukovich hizo este anuncio antes de reunirse durante tres horas en Kiev con Catherine Ashton, la jefa de la diplomacia de la UE, quien más tarde tachó de inadmisible que un país exija compensaciones a cambio de una asociación comercial, que muchos ven como un primer paso para unirse al bloque regional.
Ashton viajó para reunirse con Yanukovich y, más tarde, decidió visitar a los manifestantes en la Plaza de la Independencia, el epicentro de las protestas en la capital y el escenario del levantamiento popular pro europeo de 2004, conocido como la Revolución Naranja.
Ashton recorrió la plaza conocida popularmente como Euromaidán (maidán es plaza en ucraniano), donde varios miles de opositores protestan contra la decisión del gobierno de suspender las conversaciones para asociarse con la UE y reclaman elecciones anticipadas.
Tan pronto como su presencia fue anunciada por los altavoces de la plaza, los manifestantes le dedicaron una gran ovación, según informaron medios locales.
Ashton estuvo acompañada en todo momento por Arseni Yatseniuk, el líder parlamentario del principal partido opositor, Batkivschina (Patria), liderado por la ex primera ministra Yulia Timoshenko, actualmente en cárcel, pese a los reclamos de los líderes europeos.
La multitud que copa la plaza creció en las últimas horas, especialmente desde que anoche la policía dispersó a los cientos de manifestantes opositores que bloqueaban con barricadas el acceso a algunos edificios del gobierno, donde hoy pudieron reanudar las actividades.
"Ahora, nuestro objetivo principal es impedir a cualquier precio que disuelvan el Maidán. Desde aquí libraremos una guerra de guerrillas", anunció Yatseniuk ante la plaza colmanada, desde donde también rechazó la mesa de diálogo inaugurada hoy por el presidente Yanukovich para buscar una salida política a la crisis.
La llamada mesa de diálogo incluyó al mandatario ucraniano y a sus tres antecesores en el cargo, Leonid Kravchuk, Leonid Kuchma y Víktor Yúschenko.
El actual Ejecutivo sostuvo que pese a no ser partidario de la represión, es "inaceptable" el bloqueo de las instituciones y las sedes gubernamentales.
"Los llamamientos a una revolución, a derrocar a las autoridades o a revocar el orden constitucional son inaceptables", advirtió.
Unas horas antes, el Ayuntamiento de Kiev había ordenado la instalación el fin de semana de una pista de patinaje sobre hielo en la Plaza de la Independencia.
Según publicó un diario local, el gobierno argumenta que el decreto fue aprobado por la administración municipal el 22 de octubre, un mes antes de que se iniciaran las primeras protestas en el centro de la ciudad.
Sin embargo, el alcalde en funciones de Kiev, Alexandr Popov, reiteró hoy que las autoridades municipales "ni tienen ni pueden tener ningún plan de intervención por la fuerza para resolver el conflicto".

ReplyDeleteHundreds of anti-government protesters inside city hall in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, have pushed back riot police trying to dislodge them.
Clashes erupted hours after riot police moved in to clear protesters from nearby Independence Square - prompting the US to express "disgust".
The interior minister has now given assurances no force will be used.
The protests were sparked by the government's refusal to sign a deal on closer ties with the European Union.
The U-turn followed pressure from Russia, which has said Ukraine's free trade deal with the EU will flood the Russian market.
Human walls
Police have now withdrawn from city hall following their abortive attempt to oust occupying protesters, said the BBC's David Stern at the scene.
Protesters used hoses to fire icy water at the police, said reports, and events were carried live on local television.
Protesters also announced that the police had pulled back from the main camp in Independence Square, which they moved on in the early hours of Wednesday.
"I want everyone to calm down," said Interior Minister Vitali Zakharchenko in a statement.
"There will be no storming of the square. No one will violate your rights to protest peacefully, but do not ignore the rights... of other citizens."

Ukraine PM Requests $27 Billion in Aid for EU Deal....
ReplyDeleteSecurity forces are pulling back from crowds of protesters around a central square in Ukraine's capital after a night of clashes between police and pro-European Union demonstrators.
Scuffles between the two groups took place early Wednesday in Kyiv's city hall, as police wielding batons tried to drive protesters out of the building.
Reports say the protesters fought back by spraying water from fire hoses at the security forces. Police buses were later reported to be leaving the area.
Hours earlier, security agents stormed a protest encampment in the square and ripped down a tent city erected by the demonstrators.
The U.S. State Department issued a statement expressing "disgust" with the actions of Ukrainian authorities for introducing bulldozers and riot police to the scene, rather than exercising, in the words of Secretary of State John Kerry, "respect for democratic rights and human dignity."
Kerry said that "respect for democratic principles, including freedom of assembly" is fundamental to the United States' approach to Ukraine. He said these values are universal, not just American. He called for "utmost restraint" and said human life must be protected.
The protests began in late November, after the Ukrainian president backed away from a long-anticipated trade deal with the European Union, in favor of repairing and improving economic and political ties with Russia.
On Wednesday Ukraine's Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said Ukraine is requesting $27.5 billion in financial assistance from the European Union before it signs an association agreement with the 28-nation bloc.

Der ukrainische Präsident Viktor Janukowitsch bettelt in Brüssel um Geld, obwohl er gerade die Annäherung seines Landes zu Europa torpediert hat. Die von Oppositionsprotesten erschütterte Ukraine fordert jetzt nämlich von der Europäischen Union Hilfskredite im Umfang von 20 Milliarden Euro. Im Hinblick auf das gestoppte Assoziierungsabkommen mit der EU sagte Ministerpräsident Mykola Asarow am Mittwoch in Kiew, "diese Angelegenheit" könne "durch das Angebot von finanzieller Unterstützung an die Ukraine gelöst werden".
Die "ungefähre Größenordnung" liege bei 20 Milliarden Euro, so Asarow bei einer im Fernsehen übertragenen Kabinettssitzung. In seinen Äußerungen stellte Asarow einen direkten Zusammenhang zwischen der Forderung und dem Assoziierungsabkommen her. Die Regierung hatte angekündigt, eine Delegation nach Brüssel zu schicken; eine weitere Abordnung soll zeitgleich zu Gesprächen nach Moskau reisen.
Der ukrainische Präsident Viktor Janukowitsch hatte unter dem Druck Moskaus Ende November die Vorbereitungen für das Abkommen überraschend gestoppt und damit Massenproteste ausgelöst. Die Opposition verlangt seinen Rücktritt, weil er das Land nicht wie gefordert zum Westen öffne, sondern stärker an Russland anbinde.

ReplyDeleteLes forces anti-émeute ukrainiennes ont dû quitter, mercredi 11 décembre, sous la pression des manifestants les alentours de la mairie de Kiev occupée par l'opposition et qu'ils avaient tenté de prendre d'assaut, selon un journaliste de l'AFP sur place. Les cars des forces anti-émeute ont quitté les alentours de la mairie, entourés d'une foule de manifestants, a rapporté ce journaliste.
Plusieurs centaines de policiers, faisant usage de leurs matraques, avaient tenté en début de matinée de prendre d'assaut la mairie de Kiev, occupée depuis lundi par l'opposition qui en a fait son quartier général. ReplyDeleteΟι άντρες της ειδικής μονάδας της αστυνομίας «Berkut» σήμερα Τετάρτη δεν κατάφεραν να ανακαταλάβουν με έφοδο το δημαρχιακό μέγαρο του Κιέβου και αφού επιβιβάστηκαν σε λεωφορεία αποχωρούν από τον περιβάλλοντα χώρο.
Στο μεταξύ το Υπουργείο Εσωτερικών της Ουκρανίας κάλεσε τους διαδηλωτές στο Κίεβο να αποφύγουν να διακόπτουν την κυκλοφορία των αυτοκινήτων, ενώ ο πρωθυπουργός Νικολάι Αζάροφ δήλωσε πως δεν θα υπάρξει χρήση βίας κατά των διαδηλωτών.
