Свою лепту в этот «анализ» внес и председатель Верховной Рады Украины А.В.Турчинов, по мнению которого почти 2 тыс. тонн российской помощи гражданскому населению Юго-Востока в виде электрогенераторов, продовольствия, медикаментов, питьевой воды, детского питания – это «фейк», «фиговый листок», провокация и спекуляция. Оказывается, по А.В.Турчинову, российская гуманитарная помощь не учитывает проблем Востока, а «создается исключительно для поставки оружия боевикам». «Это помощь смерти», – подытожил он.
Это заявление на фоне непрекращающихся артиллерийских обстрелов украинскими военными Донецка и Луганска, разрушения объектов инфраструктуры и жилых кварталов, массовой гибели мирных людей трудно назвать мягче, чем верхом цинизма.
Нарастание гуманитарного кризиса на Востоке Украины с тревогой отмечают руководители авторитетных международных организаций – ООН, Совет Европы, МККК, ОБСЕ.
Да и сами власти Украины говорили о том, что люди на Юго-Востоке находятся в тяжелой гуманитарной ситуации, и признали российский груз гуманитарной помощью.
Маршруты, модальности и вопросы обеспечения безопасности, сопровождения помощи согласованы с украинской стороной и Международным Комитетом Красного Креста.
Хотелось бы верить, что А.В.Турчинову не чуждо чувство христианского милосердия и небезразлична судьба своих соотечественников, многие из которых оказались в отчаянном положении. Твердо рассчитываем, что в самое ближайшее время гуманитарный груз под эгидой Международного Комитета Красного Креста дойдет до адресатов.

ReplyDeleteWe remain perplexed by the continuous speculations, inventions, and open provocative lies regarding the shipment of Russian humanitarian relief aid to the afflicted people of southeastern Ukraine.
A lot of ink has been wasted by numerous “analysts” who insist on depicting Russia’s “treacherous plan” to deliver weapons to the self-defense forces and to deploy troops in eastern Ukraine under the pretext and guise of humanitarian relief aid. In addition to journalists and commentators, a number of state officials have voiced similar misconceptions prompting the perpetuation of this political line in the West, as they continue to discuss the “threat of a Russian invasion using this convoy of white KAMAZ lorries.”
Alexander Turchinov, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, has contributed to this “analysis.” In his opinion, almost 2,000 tonnes of Russian assistance to the civilian population of southeastern Ukraine – in the form of diesel generators, food, medication, drinking water and baby food – is a “fake,” a “fig leaf,” a provocation and a speculation. According to Turchinov, Russian relief aid fails to take into account the problems of eastern Ukraine, but is only a cover for arms supplies to the militants. This is assistance for death, he summed up.
It is hard to qualify this statement, made against a backdrop of the unceasing Ukrainian artillery bombardment of Donetsk and Lugansk, the destruction of the infrastructure, of residential areas and mass civilian deaths, as anything but the ultimate expression of cynicism.
The heads of influential international organisations, including the United Nations, the Council of Europe, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, are noting with alarm that the humanitarian crisis in eastern Ukraine continues to get worse.
The Ukrainian authorities themselves have also noted that people in the southeast are in a difficult humanitarian situation, and they have recognised the Russian shipment as humanitarian relief aid.
Specific routes, modalities and security, as well as escort-related issues, have been coordinated with the Ukrainian side and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
We would like to believe that the feeling of Christian mercy is not alien to Alexander Turchinov, and that he does not remain indifferent to the fate of his compatriots, many of whom are in a desperate situation. We firmly hope that the humanitarian relief shipment will reach its recipients shortly, under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
