Ya'alon speaks with Hagel, thanks him for added Iron Dome funding

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon spoke with his American counterpart Chuck Hagel on Wednesday night, updating him on the latest security developments in the country.

Ya'alon thanked Hagel for the US decision to transfer to Israel additional funds for the Iron Dome rocket defense system.
Ya'alon released the statement on his conversation with Hagel shortly after a 'Wall Street Journal' report was published, claiming that the US had halted a weapons transfer to Israel during Operation Protective Edge amid diplomatic tensions between Washington and Jerusalem.
