“We came for peace, so that there is hope that if not tomorrow, then the day after military actions will stop, that people will stop killing each other,” Kuchma said.
“From the Ukrainian side there are no obstacles and if other parties are in the same position, then a document on an immediate ceasefire will be signed,” Kuchma continued.

La Gran Bretagna è pronta a fornire 3.500 soldati per il gruppo speciale di risposta rapida della NATO, se gli Alleati riusciranno ad accordarsi sulla loro creazione in occasione del vertice NATO in Galles....

Secondo lui, questo gruppo farà parte delle forze di reazione della NATO di stanza in Polonia e nelle basi ai confini dell'Europa orientale.
Cameron ha rilevato che il battaglione speciale multinazionale potrebbe essere disclocato e reso operativo in ogni parte del mondo in soli 2-5 giorni.
