More than 40 bodies found in AirAsia search

More than 40 bodies have been retrieved in the search for the AirAsia jet, the Indonesian navy has said as debris spotted in the Java Sea was confirmed as belonging to the plane.
Earlier, Indonesian officials coming off a helicopter on Borneo island said they have recovered several bodies floating in waters near where the missing AirAsia flight was last seen. Images on local television showed at least one bloated corpse.

The bodies, swollen but intact, were brought to an Indonesian navy ship, National Search and Rescue Director SB Supriyadi told reporters in the nearest town, Pangkalan Bun. The corpses did not have life jackets on.

    Efforts to locate victims and wreckage of AirAsia flight QZ8501 which crashed into the Java Sea in Indonesia on Sunday are being hampered by stormy weather and strong tides.

    Indonesian officials have confirmed that remains and debris found in the waters off Borneo are from the plane.

  2. Crash d'AirAsia: 3 corps découverts se tenaient la main et un portait un gilet de sauvetage...

    Le mauvais temps empêchait mercredi les secouristes de reprendre leurs opérations en Indonésie pour recouvrer les corps des 162 personnes à bord de l'avion d'AirAsia qui s'est abîmé en mer de Java dimanche, des proches attendant désespérément des nouvelles.

    Selon le MailOnline, des radars auraient détecté l'épave du vol 8501, retournée au fond de la mer de Java, à une profondeur de 24 à 30 mètres sous l'eau. L'un des 6 corps repêchés portait un gilet de sauvetage.
