The migration crisis Europe is faced with has rooted in a policy aimed to destroy states in the Middle East and to violate all norms of international alw, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday.
"The problem of refugees has another origin than just the Syria crisis," Lavrov said. "All the problems in that region - either refugees or a terror threat - are connected with destruction of states."
"When Libya was devastated in violation of all norms of international law, it turned into a black hole flooding the other countries, mainly in North Africa and also in the continent’s south, with weapons and terrorists," he said.
