Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida and senior U.S. and South Korean officials agreed Friday to seek a tough U.N. Security Council resolution against North Korea following its fourth nuclear test, Japan's Foreign Ministry said.
In the talks in Tokyo, the three sides confirmed they will continue working closely together to take resolute action against Pyongyang, the ministry said.
North Korea earlier this month said it had successfully detonated a hydrogen bomb for the first time.
