US denied Russia in the creation of an advisory center on Syria in Amman said the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Defense of Russia Anatoly Antonov reports TASS .

According to him the Russian Defense Ministry came out with such a proposal however met with rejection from the American side.

“We have offered in the first place the Americans and other Western countries to establish a joint advisory center to address the issues of interaction. They suggested as a possible place of its dislocation Amman (Jordan). We refused “- said Antonov. “Our minister has suggested a telephone conversation with (the head of the Pentagon) Ashton Carter. It was on 19 January. We were given to understand that such a conversation would be inappropriate ” – he added.
