In Baku announced the ceasefire in the Karabakh conflict zone

“According to preliminary information, the casualties of the Azeri army has already exceeded 200 people, shot down at least eight tanks and two attack helicopters and two unmanned aerial vehicles”, — said the Agency interlocutor.

Another source in law enforcement bodies of the NKR reported that the division of the Azerbaijani army, consisting of five tanks, was surrounded on the North-Eastern direction of the frontline.

According to him, tensions remain in the North-Eastern and South-Eastern directions of the line of confrontation. “Divisions of Karabakh army are carrying out measures for the return of certain items seized by Azerbaijani troops in the district of Jabrail,” added the source.

In Baku has denied this information. Dargahi stated that 200 Azerbaijani soldiers killed and hit five tanks in the “pot” is not true. “We have named our party: 12 soldiers, one tank and one helicopter. Other loss we do not have,” he said.

Earlier, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan stated that the Armenian armed forces during the clashes with the Azerbaijani armed forces lost killed 18 people, another 35 injured.

Nagorno-Karabakh, populated mostly by ethnic Armenians, declared independence from Azerbaijan in 1991. Baku tried to bring the region under its control through military operations, but failed. In 1994, Azerbaijan, Armenia and the unrecognized NKR signed with the mediation of Russia, the Bishkek Protocol on ceasefire.
