More than 4,700 people, mostly jihadists, were killed in Syria in the United States-led international coalition bombing, which began 19 months ago, according to data released on Saturday by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Among the 4,742 dead, at least 391 were civilians, including 99 children and 67 women, mostly killed in the Syrian provinces of Hasakah, al-Raqqa, Aleppo, Idlib and Deir Ezzor.
The London-based NGO added that 64 civilians were killed in a single airstrike on Apr. 30, 2015 in Bir Mahli in the Syrian province of Aleppo.
These figures differ from data announced on Friday by the U.S. Department of Defense, which admitted the killing of 20 civilians in several airstrikes in Iraq and Syria from last September to last February.
