Neither Russian, nor any other aircraft made any flights in the area of the refugee camp near the Sarmad community in Syria on May 4 and 5, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov told the media.
"We’ve closely studied the objective air space monitoring data for May 4 and 5, 2016. Neither Russian nor any other aircraft were flying over Sarmad," Konashenkov said.
The Syrian army’s command denies its planes might have been responsible.
The White House, too, has said that neither US Air Force or international coalition planes might have attacked the camp.
