Kremlin considers London-based Syrian opposition’s information untrue

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that the information of the Syrian opposition in London was untrue.

When asked by journalists about how he could comment on the data of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that more than 3,800 civilians had been killed in air strikes over the year of Russia’s military operation in Syria, Peskov answered: "We do not assess as reliable the information of this organization based in Great Britain about what is happening in Syria."

AFP news agency published information on Friday on the deaths of civilians, citing the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

According to a report by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, about 20,000 civilians have been wounded in Syria and almost 6,000 gunmen from various militant groupings have been killed.
