The Obama administration on Tuesday accused China of having "excessive" agricultural subsidies that hurt farmers in the United States.
U.S. Officials filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization claiming China's rice, wheat and corn crops were the product of "excessive government support" and provided an unfair advantage to Chinese imports.
China followed all WTO rules and will deal with the complaint via WTO procedures, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said on its website.
