Biden says he may run for president in 2020

US Vice President Joe Biden on Monday announced that he may run for the presidency in 2020.


Asked by a CNN reporter whether he would run for office again, Biden said:  "Yeah, I am. I'm going to run in 2020."

Asked by reporters for what position, he said, smiling: "For president. What the hell, man."

Biden made sure, however, to explain that he was not formally announcing a 2020 bid.

"I'm not committing not to run," he said. "I'm not committing to anything. I learned a long time ago fate has a strange way of intervening."
