Iranian President Congratulates Greece on National Day

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in a message to his Greek counterpart President Prokopis Pavlopoulos on Saturday congratulated him on Greece National Day.


According to the Presidential Office, President Rouhani expressed hope that the two countries would promote bilateral cooperation.

Iran and Greece are among countries which have built human civilization and have always had friendly ties with each other, the president said in his message.

He added the two countries have noticeable economic capacities which could be used to bolster their economies and safeguard mutual interests.

He wished health and success for President Pavlopoulos and honor and progress for Greek people.
